APLIX INC. RECEIVES ANOTHER SILVER BOEING PERFORMANCE EXCELLENCE AWARD APLIX Inc. today announced that it has received the 2014 Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have met stringent requirements and performed exceptionally well.

With over 21,000 global suppliers and partners, Boeing recognized only 548 companies last year that earned a Gold or Silver Performance Excellence Award. This is the seventh consecutive year that APLIX Inc. has received the Gold or Silver Performance Excellence Award.

APLIX Inc. maintained a Silver or better composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2013 to Sept. 30, 2014. “The APLIX team is very pleased to have received the Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award again this year,” stated APLIX Inc.’s President and CEO Rick Little. “This is yet another example of APLIX’s commitment to providing our customers with superior products and services with on-time deliveries.” APLIX provides specialized self-gripping fastening solutions with high-performance capabilities and benefits to Boeing and other Aerospace manufacturers.

Last 5th February, in Paris, APLIX received the PET’s Packaging Innovation Certification for its innovative closure EASY-LOCK by APLIX®. Pet's & Vet's Packaging Forum (PPF & VPF) is the first international congress on pet food, pet care and veterinary products packaging: This new congress was held in Paris last 4th & 5th February 2015.

APLIX and ARLA FOODS (UK) were finalists in the Best Functional Dairy Packaging Innovation category in the Dairy Innovation Awards 2014 (Istanbul,Turkey). The judging panel considered almost 160 entries from 30 countries in 17 categories. ARLA FOODS introduced its innovative resealable closure EASY-LOCK by APLIX® on its new ANCHOR Cheddar packaging.

In 2011, our customer MARIANI Packing Company (USA) received an award due to our revolutionary new reclosable system EASY-LOCK by APLIX®. MARIANI received the “Innovation Product” Award during the first edition of the Innovation Awards organized by the INTERNATIONAL Nut & Dried fruit Congress (INC).

In 2009, APLIX was the first to launch a hook and loop closure for flexible packaging. It received its first innovation award during the PACKINNOVE congress 2009.
