Established in 1983, Velteks Band was one of the first companies to  manufacture hook and loop technology in Turkey. We have been a leader in this sector for 40 years, providing our customers with hook and loop and other 'reclosable' systems such as the patented Easy Lock® and Inter-mold® by Aplix.

1958 Jean Billarant establishes Velcro France to produce and sell Velcro® brand (from "Velours" and "Crochet") hook and loop fasteners under a license from the Swiss Company Velcro S.A.

1976 After patent expiration, Velcro France ceases affiliation with Velcro S.A., changes its name to APLIX, and adopts the APLIX trademark to identify its hook and loop fasteners.

1980's Expanding global commercial presence.

1982 First manufacturing plant built in the USA.

2001 Le Cellier plant (France) won "Best Industrial Construction” by the world architecture awards.

2006 Shanghaï manufacturing plant.

2012 Majority share of Parafix in Brazil acquired.
